Our comprehensive home wellness guide for the Catholic woman.
A wellness guide for your home to nourish the body
through the abundant provision of God, while seeking first things first.
Our home wellness guide is a thorough resource for you to learn about holistic health as a Catholic woman. It is packed with education laid out in a beautiful and easy-to-read way. Inside you will also find recipes, practical health support, and general wellness tips.
a Catholic home wellness guide helping you on your holistic health journey.
Viriditas is our home wellness guide for Catholic women. This is more than an e-book; it is an heirloom resource to support you in your daily living.
While short term gains may appeal to many people, we are generally not fans of quick fixes for health, especially if they are at odds with our long-term goals. We want to support our bodies (an important part of living out our calls to holiness), and also the generations to come.
While health trends come and go, our guide walks you through foundations, always keeping space for bio-individuality.

What's inside the guide:
Health Foundations
You get a detailed, but accessible, nutrition curriculum that covers nutrition basics, thyroid & metabolic health, mineral balance, digestion, blood sugar regulation, and hydration. We follow that up with additional pillars of health like sleep, movement, and the nervous system.
Practical Support
The guide is filled with practical resources that you can implement in your daily life. In addition to the helpful sections on real food, there is a comprehensive section providing support matched up with physical health symptoms.
Nourishing Recipes
Our recipes are here to provide baseline nourishment for you and your families. We don’t favor complex meals, but rather we are fans of simplicity and real food ingredients.

Yet there's more...
Beyond a thoughtfully laid out education, we provide mini-guides throughout:
- Vitamin and mineral guides that explain roles & functions plus food sources
- What real food is down to the subtle differences between cow and goat milk
- How to build a balanced plate
- How to stock your kitchen
- How to meal plan (for all different types of personalities)
- Information on food sourcing
- Troubleshooting food sensitivities
- Much, much more!
Reviews of Viriditas
“THANK YOU for such a beautiful, thoughtful guide. It’s amazing! The design is so lovely, and the information is conveyed in such a clear, concise way. I love all of the quotes from the saints sprinkled throughout! I’ve been an Ember Journal subscriber since you started but as much as I love them, I hemmed and hawed over getting the guide. I’m so glad I finally did, and I wish I had sooner! I’m looking forward to participating in the online group (and another thank you for hosting it away from social media!)!”

“The Viriditas Guide truly encapsulates God’s beautiful design for man because it emphasizes what we need both body and soul. The thoughtful information focuses on the needs of the body but never departs from the needs of the soul and that our ultimate good is found in God alone. In a time when many falsely follow Descartes’ belief that health is the highest good, the ladies of the Ember Collective provide a rightly ordered vision of how God designed the world for our good and how we can reclaim that goodness without prioritizing our health over Him.”

“Fasting is better than eating and brings more graces, but God still wants us to eat.
Praying is better than drinking and much more pleasing to God, and yet God bids us to drink.
Keeping vigil is more acceptable to God than sleeping, and yet it is not displeasing to God that we sleep.
God has given us bodies that we might care for them and serve him in them,
until the time comes when he takes us from this life.”
— St. Thomas More
